正如我轻轻的来;
Farewell, Cambridge,
As quietly as I came,
I wave my hand,
Saying goodbye to the western clouds.
是夕阳中的新娘;
The golden willows by the riverside,
Are brides in the sunset;
Their shimmering reflections dance
In the ripples of my heart.
油油的在水底招摇;
The green water plants on the soft mud,
Waving leisurely in the water;
In the gentle waves of the River Cam,
I would be a weed!
不是清泉,是天上虹;
The pool under the elm shade,
Is not clear spring water, but a fragment of sky's rainbow;
It is broken among the floating algae,
And sinks into a dream like the rainbow.
向青草更青处漫溯;
Seeking dreams? Row with a long pole,
To the greener pastures ahead;
Load a boat full of starlight,
And sing in the dazzling starlight.
悄悄是别离的笙箫;
But I cannot sing,
For the silence is the flute of farewell;
Even summer insects keep silent for me,
Silence is tonight's Cambridge!
正如我悄悄的来;
Quietly, I leave,
Just as I quietly arrived;
I wave my sleeve,
And take no cloud with me.
